Your Edges Will Thank Me Later

Do you leave the hair salon wondering what products your stylist uses to have your hair laid the way it is? Whatever magical products they use seem to be only accessible to them, and not open to the general public. And each time you sneak a peek of what products they’re using or ask them what they are putting in your hair to make you feel like you’re about to hit the runway, you forget what they told you once you make it home.

I know…me too!

One fight I always seem to fail is the battle with my edges. Whenever my stylists ask me how I want my edges, I always tell them to not make them too dramatic because I will not be able to fix them back. That’s definitely one struggle I don’t need every morning. Aside from my failed attempts to recreate the masterpiece my stylist made, one thing that caused even more stress for me was edge control. For whatever reason, the edge control I was using in the past was always leaving my hair flaky and dry and rarely lasted throughout the day. My edges felt defeated.

A while ago I was getting my hair braided and my hair stylist requested for me to bring African Black Control Black Gel Edge Glue. I had never heard of it before, but had I known sooner, my edges would have surely thanked me.

This product has 5 times extreme hold and contains olive oil, grape seed oil, and eucalyptus leaf oil. The label on African Black Control says this product is fast drying, water based, provides extra shine, and lasts for 48 hours with a strong hold. It has no flaking, itching, stickiness, peeling around edges, and does not melt away.

I’ve been using this edge control for some time now, and it definitely lives up to what it promises on its’ label. I can go throughout the day without having to reapply anything on my edges and it doesn’t leave the white flakes that can become very annoying. Overall, I give this edge control a 10/10.

If interested, you can purchase African Black Control at your local beauty supply or even Walmart.
